Friday Favorites-- Recent Purchases

Friday is here again... and once again, I am so thrilled that it is here. Lately, there are a few goodies that I have purchased, that I am loving a lot!

I have been trying to save my Starbucks purchases for the weekend, since it tends to get pricey when you go every.single.day. So in my best efforts, I have been making my chai tea at home in the mornings. With that being said, I needed a cute mason jar for my daily drinks...
The Mason Bar Company
My new mason jar tumbler is super cute, but it needed a "Sparkly Glitter Crocheted Heart Cozy", so I snagged this beauty 15% off :)
JumpingandJellyBean
Another recent purchase that I am really loving is this "Sassy Pink- Slub T-shirt infinity scarf". It is super light-weight and will be good for the warm Florida weather that is on its way. I'll probably snag the deco green one for St. Patrick's Day :)
Gap
And I purchased these beauties that are going to replace the boring builder knobs on our closet doors in our loft. Anthropologie strategically placed swivel shelves right at the front door, so I stood there for about 20 minutes drooling over all of my favs
All I know is that I cannot to get pregnant, so I can buy some more knobs for the {future} baby room furniture  that we will be revamping.

Lovely And Oh-So-Pinteresting-- Bathrooms...

According to statistics, over a lifetime, the average person spends just over 568 days in the bathroom. This equates to just over 819,000 minutes during a lifetime.
So what better way to spend your time, than in a massive, luxurious bathroom.

Glass showers with shower heads at every angle with floor to ceiling grey tiling, a gorgeous tub with a sparkling chandelier, white trim with dark wood floors-- pure bliss I tell ya!!!

I normally am not crazy about light wood colors, but these cabinets look amazing with this grey/white marble top. The light green title back splash and mirrors really tie this bathroom together & I love it!!

This bathroom screams The Raulerson's-- it is really too bad I cannot wiggle my nose like the genie & the bathroom would appear in our house. I am obsessed with everything about this space- it totally had me at the dark wood cabinets with lots of drawers & open storage and marble counters & floors.

Love, Love, Love !!

I am a sucker for some open storage-- not too much & not too little. Perfect way to show off some cute towels.

So since we're going to spend roughly 819,000 minutes in the bathroom, it should be everything we dreamed of and more, right !?

**In planning mode for our next house**

Morning Must Haves

I am creature of habit-- during the week days, I have a routine that I always follow, without fail. With my normal routine, comes my morning must haves. These are some things that I use each & everyday & cannot live without.

1) C.O. Bigelow Lemon Lip Cream-- Lemony goodness & worth every.single.penny. This lip cream can do wonders for lips, especially when the weather is bipolar. It tastes yummy, with no waxy flavor, like most lip creams.

2) Bare Minerals-- I have been using this product for years & I really love it. There are several things that I really like about this product; it is easy to put on, lasts quite a long time (if used sparingly), & it covers most flaws on your face without giving the look of wearing a ton of makeup.

3) Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink- Grapefruit Scrub-- I have tried a lot of face scrubs & this one is my favorite by far. It gives me that extra clean feel, removing any access skin or dryness that is on my face. I have super oily skin & this tends to help lessen the gross oily face, which in turn, helps my acne to diminish.

4) Burberry Classic Perfume-- In college one of my friends introduced me to the amazing Burberry perfume. I honestly cannot get enough of it... It has a very clean smell, without being too strong. What I love even more about it, is that it lasts all day long-- & in my book that is super important.

5) Mason Jar To-Go Tumbler-- I love mason jars ! I use these everyday for my morning caffeine boost. These are great with keeping drinks very cold, without "sweating", and they come with super cute, colorful straws.

6) Tazo Chai Tea Latte Concentrate-- This is another that a friend introduced me to & I never looked back. If you know me, then you know that I love chai tea !! Lately, I have been buying the concentrate (Target has them on sale a lot!) & making an iced drink with soy milk at home in the mornings. It saves about $20+ a week & it is so yummy & gives me enough energy to get through the work day.

7) Naked Smoothies-- Healthy, quick fix & so yummy !! I love them for either breakfast, lunch, or a little snack if I have a sweet tooth. They're normally on sale at Publix- 2 for $5 which is an awesome deal.

So what are some products/things that you cannot live without for your daily routine??

Friday Favorites- A&E Favorites

American Eagle really does it every time... no matter the age, I have always loved their clothing. The quality + inexpensive prices are great. A&E is an awesome store when you need to casual go-to pieces. You can always count on them to have cute tees, tons of different style shorts, and comfy sandals.

The plain tees are my favorite- super soft and comfortable for the million degree Florida weather. There are so many different styles and colors-- and right now they're buy one, get one 50%. I love the look of a white tee because you can dress it up or pair it with anything.

And I am loving all of the woven & denim shorts, especially the dark cuffed short, knock-out pink woven short and the light denim destroyed short. I want all of these in my closet, now.

I have been looking around everywhere for some light-weight scarves that could be worn in the dreadfully hot weather, so I was super excited when I saw these three {floral, dot & watercolor ikat}. I am loving bright colors of the floral one, but my ultimate fav is the light colored ikat scarf. They are all perfect for Spring.

Happy Friday & Happy Shopping Everyone !!

Lovely & Oh-So-Pinteresting-- Kitchens

Thanks to Pinterest, I have my dream kitchen for our next house planned out, with every little detail pinned & written down in my notebook (call me crazy, I don't care!).

One of my must haves for my future kitchen is white/cream cabinets. I love every single thing about them-- I am sure it won't be too practical with a messy husband and {our future} kids, but I can overlook practicality.

I also want a massively huge island with plenty of chairs that can go around it. I can just envision my future-- me cooking breakfast for my husband and {hopefully} two beautiful babies, as they sit around the island.

Something that will also be a must have is 90489048109 cabinets & a walk-in pantry. I love to shop for kitchen goodies & like organization, so it only makes sense that these would be a definite.

And last but not least-- I would love to have a beautifully colored back splash, that sparkles in the light coming from some gorgeous lighting.

Dream kitchens...

And if I was to branch out to colored cabinets, I would definitely be going for one of these looks. They all look so amazing and the white counter tops POP, which I love

So what kind of must have things do you have to have when it comes to your dream kitchen

Zoo with Mom

Last week, my mom and I had a day off together, so we decided to go to the Jacksonville Zoo. Neither one of us had been in years & the weather here in Florida was too pretty to not go outside somewhere. We also just got new cameras recently & were super excited to use them on some cute animals.

This sweet little zebra looked so sad... It truly broke my heart.

Can you spot the little baby?
She was too cute- followed around her momma & played with her brother cub (not pictured).
King of the Jungle !!

Pink beauty just bathing away...

Sweet little birdie-- I was so close to him & he wasn't scared at all.
This my friend-- scared to crap out of me. We were in the bird sanctuary so that's all I thought was in there, until the human-sized gerbil thing ran right by me. Seems that he was more afraid of me, than I was of him. Little guy went hiding in the bushes.

I had such a great time snapping pictures of all these amazing animals. And even better, I got to spend some quality time with my mom.
I truly wish that the weather in Florida would stay in the high 60's, like it was the day we went to the zoo-- I enjoyed it & it sure seems like the animals did too.

So what are your favorite zoos that you've visited?

Friday Favorites- Living Room

I am glad that it is Friday & that is for sure... there have been all sorts of nasty colds going around the office this week & all the multivitamins, vitamin C drops, & Clorox wipes in the world did not shield me from the cold. After a few days with the cold, I am feeling a little better...

Anyways, forget about colds, lets talk about some of my living room favs. The majority of our house is pretty much decorated-- but we have this dreadful, empty wall in our living room, that has truly stumped me.

Here are some of my ideas for sprucing up the blah, empty wall...

So if you know me, then you know I am literally obsessed with pillows !! I love West Elm for pillows & that are ALL on sale right now-- it was like they knew I needed a few more. Ha! So I will just add more & more pillows to the couch, that my husband is not allowed to touch (he will be just thrilled!).

Target is my go-to for frames & lately they have been having some awesome sales, so I plan on snagging these four frames. I will stick to black & white photos & probably add a jandpaper print in them. I am considering maybe even adding a cardboard deer head with the frames too, but I am undecided.

And no room, in any house, can have enough baskets. I love baskets so much! Home Goods has so many inexpensive baskets-- I have been keeping an eye out for a big one.

So what makes your living room cozy & full?
