Spring Has Sprung...

Well Easter has come and gone & I had so many plans for Easter Eve and Easter Day, but life threw some curve balls. So needless to say the bunny pancakes and birds nest cupcakes-- did not happen. Luckily I decorated and did a few DIY projects weeks in advance.

My obsession with mason jars has become quite out of control, so it was only natural for my next DIY project to include them. It was super easy- I picked up mason jars from Michael's and sample paint from the clearance section at Lowe's. The only thing that took forever was waiting on the paint to dry on the inside of the mason jars. And then I added some oh my favorite flowers.

Painted Mason Jars

I had been eyeing these cute little chicks [salt & pepper shakers] at Pottery Barn-- I now know that Hubs listens to me when I talk about my ever growing wish list because he surprised me with these cuties.

Ever since we moved into our house, decorating outside has become such an obsession. I love, love, love wreaths. I had already made the wreath below, but I wanted to dress it up a little more. So I made some cute mini garland and stuck it on there & it looks so good !!

Speaking of obsessions... garland is another one I have. I love decorating our mirror with it. It really makes a difference. And a plus is that it is pretty easy to make [minus hot gluing my fingers together].

Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with family- I know we did.
